It is hard to start posting again after a long hiatus. I'll just start from the top.
When we got back from Florida I got a nasty cold that didn't seem to go away. Every time I started to feel better I got another cold! This went on for about 2 months, and between working, taking care of the kids, making Christmas gifts and getting everything ready for the Holidays, I just didn't have any leftover energy to think - let alone write a post! But now as things are returning to some semblance of order, I can resume a semi-normal blogging schedule :) And, I am happy to report, I am 100% better now!
Uncle Kerwyn installed Photoshop Elements on my laptop, so that also means that I am getting picture albums uploaded finally. WOOT WOOT! Unfortunately though, since "My Photo Album" has recently canceled my free account, because I cannot afford to upgrade to a paying membership status, I now have to have my pictures on facebook. So anybody out there who has not joined FB yet, feel free to accept this guilt trip I am trying to lay on you! Hee hee, just kidding... sort of.
We had a great Christmas, in spite of not being with my Florida fam, boo hoo! We at least were able to talk on skype on Christmas morning and that was awesome. We had my in-laws over and it was mine and Ty's first time hosting our own Christmas dinner. We ate about 4 hours later than we were expecting, but it ended up being a wonderful dinner and wonderful family time!
More to come later!
PS. We miss you too Barrientezs, California Millers, and Colorado Millers/Hendersons!

Woo Hoo! We missed you. It's amazing how this life can be so crammed with great stuff. Glad to hear things are better, what fun to have Christmas at your house. Ours was quite a challenge feeding 24 people 3 meals a day, for 10 days :) we had a ball!
We need to get together sometime...what should we do?
Yay! An update! Thank you - I missed you! And I love the new color scheme - classy and cool at the same time, reflective of a certain Mrs. Carrick that I know! Love Mom
Just another comment to say ... yay for posting to resume!! Thank you, Steffie!!
AND now the wait for another post. :)
