Zane just told me that "When I'm all grown up, Katie is going to marry Cody, and I'm going to marry a pretty girl that looks like you Mom!"
Totally made my afternoon!
BTW, Cody is a boy in Katie's class, who Katie has a "crush" on ;)

Before Katie decided to marry Kody, she was going to marry me. There is nothing like the unspoiled, whole-hearted love of a child. God blesses us with those moments to make up for the other moments we have. Like cutting sisters hair, or taking the fish out of the tank to play.
I think it has been shown somewhere that most women end up marrying someone kind of like Dad, and most men end up marrying someone kind of like Mom. Even if they are trying for the opposite of Mom or Dad. So be the best Mom and Dad you can be! Love Mom

You know, I just thought of something, Steph ... Zane is growing up. At least now he isn't planning on marrying Katie anymore, LOL. Love Mom
