Blizzard

Well, I just got two phone calls. One from Aunt Kellie and one from Debi (my Mother-in-law). Both were to check on us, because unbeknownst to me, we are in a blizzard! I knew we were having a pretty heavy storm, but I didn't realize it was so bad. We are supposed to get up to two feet of snow by tomorrow morning! Ty and Zane have been bummed all winter because we have not gotten a significant snowfall for sledding. Well Ty, I don't think you have to worry about that anymore! The first thing Zane said when he saw the snow was "Mom, we can go sledding now, woohoo!"

Here are a few pictures I took from earlier. Click on the picture to see a larger version on a solid background.

It has really calmed down since I took those, but the snow isn't supposed to be stopping any time soon. If our power goes out, Ty will get his parents truck and we would probably stay at their house tonight. Please pray for everyone's safety!

At least we are getting much needed moisture!

Last week my kids were on spring break, and were so bummed on Monday morning when they had to go back to school. This morning when I had to pick up the kids because school was cancelled, Zach was near tears. He was having a good day, and didn't want to leave. I can't win! I'm with Zane about the sledding. Take pictures and stay warm.

We've gotten about 5 inches up here...it's gonna be a busy skiing weekend, our trek to the grocery store this afternoon may be interesting. Hooray for moisture!

I second Rachel, hooray for moisture! But I hope your power doesn't go out! Please call me tomorrow morning to let me know how you are doing, everyone! Love Mom

BURRRRRRRRR!!!!!! Blizzard. We are also having bad weather, it is a chilly 68 and it is supposed to rain for another hour or two, then clear up and only get up to 74. I know what you are going through.
Love Dad
