Sorry I haven't posted in a week. We are all sick with a particularly nasty little cold; except for Ty of course! He never gets sick when we are. Even last winter when all of us had colds and pinkeye that lasted a week, He didn't so much as sneeze the entire time. I remember when growing up that when the family got sick, Dad was still healthy as a horse too. I've got two theories as to why this is:

1. The head of the house doesn't get sick because they subconciously don't let it happen. After all, someone has to keep it together when everyone else is so out of it they can't finish a coherent sentence...

2. They really are sick, but are such good actors that no one is the wiser. In that case, where are the Oscars for these men!?

Another thing this cold means is that Grace's finger is permanently attached to her nose. I keep telling her it's not ladylike to pick one's nose, but she doesn't really listen. At least she looks for a tissue to put the boogers in...

Maybe you could get grace to wear mittens around the house...? We all knoe that when the Dad's get sick it's like having another child around, so it must be them willing it away. Dad's have extra strength and stamina for a reason.

Oops, I ment "know", not "knoe". When you get older, the fingers and eyes don't work like they used, too. And I just spent 3 hours with 6-8 year olds. That is how they would spell it. They must be rubbing off on me.

LOL!

I could get Grace to wear mittens, but when she does, her hands get so sweaty they soak the mittens. I guess I have to figure out the lesser of two evils!

Dads don't get sick because they are away from home more and away from the germ- ridden air. That is my theory. Get well, Steph and kiddos! Get outside in the sun if you can! Love Mom

Hi Steph,
Surprise! I know I don't comment on blogs very often, as a matter of fact (hardly ever). I just want to let you know how much I enjoy your blog and look forward to the next post. By the way "I burpped on accident and a girl laughed, so I had to burp again". I loved that story and could see Zane doing that.
Love, Dad
